Traveling Chains PR was built to grow disc golf in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean through meaningful competition, community investment, and unforgettable experiences.
Our story began long before record-breaking tournaments and A-Tiers. We’re a couple from Florida who fell in love with the island of Puerto Rico many years ago, and with the sport of disc golf not long after. What started as passion turned into purpose, and eventually into a permanent move. We came to Puerto Rico to live our dream of helping grow the sport here on the island.
In the early days, growth meant movement. With a passenger van loaded with baskets and discs, Traveling Chains PR brought disc golf directly to communities across Puerto Rico. We set up 9-hole traveling courses, hosted clinics, pop-up events, practice areas, and introduced new players to the game wherever space allowed. Those rolling setups helped lay the foundation for the disc golf scene that exists today.
As the sport has grown, so have we.
Today, Traveling Chains PR produces some of the largest and most impactful disc golf events in Latin America, while continuing to invest in grassroots development. Our evolution has been strengthened by meaningful partnerships, most notably Prodigy Disc, whose support extends beyond sponsorship into long-term commitment. Prodigy helps elevate our events, expand player opportunities, improve infrastructure, and support sustainable growth for players at every level.
Together, Traveling Chains PR and Prodigy are focused on building more than tournaments. We’re building a culture. One rooted in Puerto Rican pride, community access, and a belief that disc golf on the island deserves a place on the global stage.

Nuestra historia comenzó mucho antes de los torneos que batían récords y los equipos de primer nivel. Somos una pareja de Florida que se enamoró de la isla de Puerto Rico hace muchos años, y del disc golf poco después. Lo que comenzó como pasión se convirtió en propósito y, finalmente, en una mudanza permanente. Vinimos a Puerto Rico para vivir nuestro sueño de ayudar a que el deporte creciera aquí en la isla.
En sus inicios, crecer significaba movimiento. Con una camioneta de pasajeros cargada de canastas y discos, Traveling Chains PR llevó el disc golf directamente a las comunidades de todo Puerto Rico. Instalamos campos itinerantes de 9 hoyos, organizamos clínicas, eventos temporales, áreas de práctica y presentamos el juego a nuevos jugadores donde el espacio lo permitía. Esas instalaciones móviles ayudaron a sentar las bases de la escena del disc golf que existe hoy.
A medida que el deporte ha crecido, también lo hemos hecho nosotros.
Hoy, Traveling Chains PR produce algunos de los eventos de disc golf más grandes e impactantes de Latinoamérica, a la vez que continúa invirtiendo en el desarrollo de las bases. Nuestra evolución se ha visto fortalecida por importantes alianzas, en particular con Prodigy Disc, cuyo apoyo va más allá del patrocinio y se convierte en un compromiso a largo plazo. Prodigy ayuda a impulsar nuestros eventos, ampliar las oportunidades para los jugadores, mejorar la infraestructura y promover el crecimiento sostenible de jugadores de todos los niveles.
Juntos, Traveling Chains PR y Prodigy nos enfocamos en construir más que torneos. Estamos construyendo una cultura. Una cultura arraigada en el orgullo puertorriqueño, el acceso a la comunidad y la convicción de que el disc golf en la isla merece un lugar en el escenario mundial.

Before we move forward, we want to take a moment to say thank you….
The Caribbean Classic Tour has grown into the largest disc golf tour in Latin American history! PLO26 the largest tournament - with 135 players from 24 States including PUERTO RICO with the highest representation of 30 players! CCT brought together players from across Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and the mainland United States. What began as a vision has become a shared experience made possible by players, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and an incredible local community.
This tour represents more than competition. It represents access, opportunity, and pride. Hosting events at this scale in Puerto Rico proves what’s possible when the disc golf community shows up for one another.

Playa Lucia Disc Golf Course is TCPR’s pride and joy. Designed and installed by the TCPR crew and help from Federacion members, locals, and travelers… It’s Puerto Rico’s FIRST disc golf course on the main island. Yabucoa is proud to call this course home. Nestled against the shores of Playa Lucia and sprinkled through an old coconut grove lie 18 fun and challenging holes of disc golf in paradise, overlooking the sea and mountains of Yabucoa. FREE TO THE PUBLIC!!!

The Ceiba Disc Golf Course is Now Open!

We’re excited to have the Ceiba Disc Golf Course open for play, offering disc golfers a chance to enjoy the stunning landscapes of Puerto Rico. While the course is playable, please note that it's still a work in progress. Some tee pads and placements are being refined as we continue improving the layout to meet our full vision.
We appreciate your patience and support as we fine-tune the experience. Your feedback is always welcome and helps ensure Ceiba becomes a top-tier destination for locals and visitors alike.
This course lives on love, donations, and volunteer effort. We proudly support and encourage contributions to the Caribbean Ability Park, whose team works tirelessly to maintain this beautiful space for public enjoyment.

El campo de disc golf Playa Lucía es el orgullo y la alegría de TCPR. Diseñado e instalado por el equipo de TCPR con la ayuda de miembros de la Federación, lugareños y viajeros... Es el PRIMER campo de golf de disco de Puerto Rico en la isla principal. Yabucoa se enorgullece de llamar a este campo su hogar. Ubicado contra las costas de Playa Lucía y esparcido por un antiguo bosque de cocoteros se encuentran 18 hoyos divertidos y desafiantes de disc golf en el paraíso, con vista al mar y las montañas de Yabucoa. ¡¡¡GRATIS PARA EL PÚBLICO!!!

Playa Lucia Disc Golf Course is ran on donations. Maintenance, cleanups, etc are sponsored by TCPR, Federacion Puertorriquena De Disc Golf, Isla Del Encanto Disc Golf Club, & Tropical Inns PR and are all done by members and volunteers. We are not paid to do this - we just REALLY LOVE DISC GOLF!!!!
All of the discs that are given out to children and visitors of the course are donated from all over the US. Dynamic Discs Westside Discs, PDGA Latino America, Southernmost Disc Golf Assoc., Broward Disc Golf Assoc., Prodigy Discs, Doomsday Discs (Tommy Miller), Gotta Go Gotta Throw (Charlie-Owner and player Jon Drummond), and many many more. We thank all of you beyond words! It is a blessing to be able to grow the sport with the youth of Puerto Rico. You all have played a vital part in what we are doing here in PR any we assure you that 100% of your donations go back to Playa Lucia and our mission to #growthesport.

The object of disc golf is to have fun and complete the course in the fewest throws. Safety and courtesy are important. Be careful of plants, animals and other visitors. Throw only when the landing area is clear of people including other players.
Start from the teeing area. The player must throw from behind the front of the teeing area.
Subsequent shots are played from behind the spot where the previous shot came to rest. This spot is known as the "lie". If your disc comes to rest in a tree or a bush, the lie is the spot on the ground directly below.
A run-up and follow through are allowed, but the player must release the disc before stepping past the lie.
A putt is a throw from within 10 meters (32.8 ft) of the target. When putting, you may not step past your lie until the disc comes to rest.
The hole is completed when the disc comes to rest in the basket or chains. The hole is not completed if the disc is resting on the top of the target.
If a shot goes out-of-bounds: play from either the last in-bounds location with a 1-stroke penalty or retee with a 1-stroke penalty.
